Hi, I’m Julie.

A mom, writer, pet lifestyle pro, and lifelong dog and K9 advocate.

I live in Washington with my husband, Mike. We raised two amazing kids, and now we share our home with three incredible senior rescue dogs: Mochi, Pickles, and Gypsy.
My journey into the world of senior dogs wasn’t planned. My first three dogs—Madison, Molly, and Pepper—taught me everything about love, patience, and the heartbreak of saying goodbye. When I lost my last girl during surgery, I was shattered. I told myself I could never go through that pain again.

But my heart needed healing. And somehow, I believe my three angels sent me my next three miracles.
This time, I made a promise: I would only adopt senior dogs. I know my time with them may be shorter, but their love is just as deep. My goal is to give them the best final chapters of their lives, filled with comfort, joy, and unbelievable amounts of love.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure about caring for your senior rescue, I’ve been there. Let me help. You’re not alone in this
